Title: Field Inventory Control Manager (FICM)
Reports to: Administration & Finance Manager with copy to Logistician & Warehouse Manager
Purpose of Position
To work as part of the delivery team in order to ensure all stock at remote site (subregional stocks) is tagged, size cubed and stored in the correct place, on time and to Company standard. Control and audit the physical stock, products sent to entrepreneurs versus the entrepreneurs’ sales are accurate
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties:
- Own and manage inventory accuracy and quality for your shift;
- Responsible for all cycle count activities (unit and location level, frequency, productivity, accuracy, etc.) on assigned shift;
- Responsible for effectively and efficiently communicating inventory accuracy, productivity, issues on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis;
- Responsible for all inventory movement on assigned shift that is not in the normal inbound and outbound processes.;
- Own and manage slotting inventory on assigned shift.
- Closely monitor all inventory related movements with the facility for strict adherence to established procedures and timely/accurate/thorough reporting when compliance is compromised;
- Through continuous improvement methodology, improve inventory/quality processes that will improve associate morale, service, cost per unit, quality and/or accuracy.
The Field Inventory Control Manager is responsible for:
- Perform physical control of products sold by entrepreneurs;
- Assist the provincial’s supervisor in managing the flow of products ordered;
- Assist the logistician & warehouse Manager in packing and checking of all deliveries;
- Write periodic reports to the entire team (AFM, LWM, SMA) on activities done (control & quality check).
Qualifications & Profile
The Field Inventory Control Manager must:
- Have a minimum high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years experience;
- Be able to assume the responsibilities assigned to him;
- Be available, honest, serious and have the trust of others;
- Have great organizational skills;
- Have an ability in the management and accounting;
- Solid working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications;
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal;
- Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands;
- Proven ability in making sound business decisions (focus on the decision-making process);
- Proven leadership ability (focus on being proactive, leading/driving change, repeatedly achieving given goals,
- Demonstrated success working within a matrix organization and team environment while meeting/exceeding expectations;
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and evening or weekend shifts.
